Trypanophobia.
Commonly known as the extreme fear of medical procedures involving injections or hypodermic needles.
I’m not a cry baby or anything but, I’m really scared of needles. esp injections. But in this case, I have no choice, I need a complete medical check up for work. When they called me earlier for medical referral, I thought they were just gonna give me a slip or a bunch of paperworks that needs to be filled out. THEN they told me I needed to complete all the tests, including CBC.
I swear, my face must’ve drained of blood then and there. I can imagine myself looking extra pale and tense and prolly just a nervous wreck. I called my mom immediately, I didn’t even realize I was crying haha. Then my sister called me, I cried also while talking to her. Then my dad called me. They all know I’m super scared of needles, medical procedures, dentists and — well, you get the idea. :)
Well, good thing my brother was there with me, I really don’t know what I would’ve done without him haha. Thankfully, I survived hahahaha. :) I’m just really happy and thankful for a VERY supportive family. I LOVE THEM :)
